Chassis paints are coated on the chassis and underbody to prevent rust and damage by rain water, salt water, muddy water, snow, soil, etc.

The Chassis paints come in two major types, namely the quick-drying oil type and the water type which permits hygienic painting operation.

These paints are available in various grades and can be selected according to the purpose and usage conditions;such as excellent dryness at low temperatures, and luster type, and thick-film that combines rust prevention, corrosion prevention, vibration prevention, sound proofing and heat insulation

The paint coats the entire underbody including the rear axle, differential, rear suspension, propeller shaft, front suspension, etc. Further, when thickly coated, it is coated at locations which are liable to generate rust and corrosion such as the outer locker, fender joint, wheel house, etc.
